Virtual Appliance
The virtual Benno MailArchiv Appliance is available ready to run. Benno MailArchiv is already pre-installed, so you can start archiving your emails immediately. The virtual appliance is based on Univention Corporate Server (UCS).

Docker Container
On the Docker Host, the Benno MailArchiv Docker Image just needs to be started. It is immediately operational (“zero installation”).

Community Edition
The Community Edition (“Open Benno MailArchiv”) has various functional limitations and differences compared to Benno MailArchiv.
Differences to the full versions:
- does not require a license key
- has no user separation or administration (every user has access to all emails in an archive)
- does not include performance optimizations regarding indexing and full-text search
- is not suitable for legally compliant email archiving
- is limited to three clients
- may only be used for non-commercial purposes under license law
The Community Edition may only be used for non-commercial purposes under license law. It can be converted into a fully functional version by adding a license file at any time.
Windows
Benno MailArchiv is not compatible with Windows, but requires Linux.
But that doesn't matter! You don't need to install Benno MailArchiv on your PC or server. As a user, you only need a web browser of your choice.
Simply use our Benno Cloud or Benno MailArchiv as Software as a Service (SaaS) from one of our hosting partners. This way, you can enjoy email archiving with Benno MailArchiv even more easily and quickly!
By the way, you can use Benno Cloud or the SaaS offers of our partners together with Microsoft Outlook and other mail clients.
