LWsystems and pro-ite are expanding the tamper-proof, open email archiving solution for SMEs and hosting providers.

Altenstadt/Bad Iburg, 1. November 2011 – LWsystems has created a robust and easily implementable solution for mail archiving with the open-source based software “Benno MailArchiv”. Fast finding and flexible search options are combined with simultaneously tamper‑proof data storage and user‑friendly application.
Version 2, which comes with significantly improved features, especially in the areas of multi‑tenant capability and archive storage, is aimed particularly at the hosting market and cloud computing providers who want to offer their customers flexible and cost‑effective add‑ons to SaaS offerings.
LWsystems has now involved the Upper Bavarian pro‑ite GmbH as an experienced development partner, with whom LWsystems has already had many years of good cooperation experience in other areas. Pro‑ite, like LWsystems, looks back on considerable hosting experience, which LWsystems adds to its own, generated by the in‑house SaaS offering „osxnet“, as external know‑how, especially regarding provisioning, to be incorporated into the product.
In addition to improved cloud support, Version 2 implements a completely reworked and significantly improved interface and search mask. Full‑text retrieval and indexing of the mails allows, as usual, a wide range of search options and fast results.
The expanded multi‑tenant capability makes integration and use in cloud services much easier. Thus SMEs with subsidiaries or sister companies can centrally archive mails with the new release, and hosts can also benefit for their customers with an integrative, highly scalable solution.
Benno MailArchiv is suitable for all common SMTP servers. An optimized integration into the leading Linux‑based groupware solution Open‑Xchange (both Standard Edition and Hosting Edition) is also offered.
The combined central and decentralized administration, takeover of inventories and open interfaces are further reasons to deploy Benno MailArchiv version 2.0.
